Default Components.

Guys, if I uprate the front speakers to some Comps, other than mounting the tweeter and crossover, are they literally plug and play? Or do I need to lay some more wires down or anything else that might be relevant.

Im assuming that the existing wires go to the crossover, which then connects to the speaker and tweeter?

Also, are the Edge components good, or a complete waste of money? Doesnt need to be an amazing competition install, just something better than standard but on a budget. Just the Edge ones are the cheapest on Car Audio Security, Sooo..

Thanks, Sam.

you got the wiring up right bud,
the speakers wire into the crossover then the crossover to the mid bass and tweeter, should have instructions on which way around positive and negative like in the box
but it is a good idea to amp them and run them at around 70rms rather than about 12 from your head unit.

it wouldn't actually run them at 45 watts, that's the max not rms watts,
they will still be a big improvement over standard,
just consider an amp in future!
