Rear left speaker wire fault?

I wired my rear speaker wires up to my 6x9's to find that the rear left just didnt want to work. It worked before I snipped the to extend it?

The right speaker is working fine...

Any ideas?

Double check connections at each end. Cant be much else as the other speaker works.

You could try quickly swapping the speaker that doesnt work, onto the side that works just to rule out the speaker being faulty though.

Iv'e tried that. Both speakers work. They were brand new anyway.

Maybe a short somewhere too..
