wow havent been on this thread for a while, carpet glue is generally too ewak to last so use impact adhesive or contact adhesive, B&Q do a spray can for £9 that is really good, professional upholstering glue is £15 each spray can but un-necessary for this tbh

Dont know what shops are by you bud but halfords sell bits and bobs, overpriced as always though.

No probs bud, been years since i wrote it out
Orite nice one will have a look, nearly finished my door pod's fiberglassed fillered and half sanded lol gonna paint them so good bit of sanding to go
