the JL amp is more suited to run the hertz speakers, it has enough power to run the SPL's, but id rather run the SPLs with over 100wrms
the kenwood amp is perfect for running a set of budget JBL comps

you have 4 channels
use the + from the 1st channel, and the - from the 2nd channel = 1 speaker bridged
do the same with speaker 3 & 4
if you were to go for the hertz comps, ill sell you my JL amp?

Just a heads up, links are dead in the first post and the 4000 amp has been replaced with this I think, (The one you linked to me earlier as well)
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/8038.html
The 4000 has been cut to £60 now on CAS from £110

Hi guys, just a quick post to say that i've updated all the links and text in the guide!
a lot of the products have changed since i've last bought anything audio related so i apologise if there are other good products that i've missed out! I just tryed to post the ones that i've personally used or someone trusted within audio has used.

Ash, just to point out, in the jbl sub/amp combo for under £150 it comes with the 752 which is a 2 ch amp not a 4 as you stated, so you might want to change it

Whats the Impedance on the audio standard?
hi, I was about to purchase some new front door panel speakers for my car (pioneer) and was wondering what the Impedance was for the car.
Any reply much appreciated. Thanks
