what settings?

just a quick question, because i've just recieved my jbl gto 7001.

what settings do i need it on to power my diamond d310d4 sufficiently?

just so that it can go to max volume with little distortion, be really clear, and be really punchy.

usually, when i sort out my amp settings, i just twist them randomly, not really knowing what they do lol.

what would you recommend to be the settings on my amp to power my sub?

read the manual

cant just "set up a sub"

gain - matched to your HU's output sensitivity (eg. mine is 2v)

LPF - on

freq crossover - usually tuned to the same freq as a ported box, if not just play about with it untill you like, most people have between 30 - 65HZ

same really. my EQ settings on stereo is bass - 10, mid +3 and high +10

but sub is on. but taking most of the bass. (LPF - 125hz) but amp is set to LPF and its up halfway on the gain.
