6 by 9s! Help
hi i promised a good friend of mine id get them some 6 by 9's etc for thier car as a thankyou for what they did for me..
where can i get some decent ones? pretty cheap!

if they are willing to accept 6x9s as a thanks then they dont really know much about car audio. I dont mean that as an insult, rather that it benefits you being able to thank they cheaply!
In which case just buy a branded name of 6x9s and you should satisfy them no probs. Plenty of good online retailers like www.caraudiodirect.co.uk

Nothing wrong with 6x9's at all. There cheap and they kick, especially if your on a budget.

people who say 6x9s are shit, dont really have a clue about car audio... its not all about full on bass.. usually i find a good mix between trebles and midbass, with a little low bass from a small powered sub works better than loads and loads of overpowered subs drowning out the trebles with too much deep bass... and 6x9s are good for a big range of audio frequency... id only recommend buying 6x9s if they are mounted in boxes though.. as that is the only time their potention comes out..
