Default a DIY amp + sump installation

I would like to show you the installation of a 4-way amplifier and a sub to my gold 1.4 Saxo! All the project was DIY

First of all me and my son start with insulation of the trunk. I buy asphalt membrane and a new car carpet in black - They cost me around 30 E.

The membrane must be pushed on the surface that we need to insulate. This is a good way to do it :

I also buy neopren sheets and i manage to insulate the trunk's door - for this i do not have photo unfortunately, it costs 10 E.

After the insulation I take paterns of the sides and then I place the new car carpet :

Then I take a pattern of the bottom, so as to cut a wooden floor, in which of coarse i place the new carpet :

And the trunk looked like this :

I stopped for a few days waiting for the amplifier and the sub to come :

So I start again with placing them in the final position (that 's why i use as a bottom a wooden floor) :

And then i cut another wooden floor just like thw first one, but in this I open a window for the amplifier and I make a carefully cut in the sub, so as to be hold in position (SO I CAN TAKE TURNS with saxo)

It is really as concrete there :

And with this window i never had a problem with temperatures in amplifier, even during summer in Greece, where i come from :

The final thing that i done is that i place leds around the amplifier and they light on as you open the trunk door , but i will take a new photo for this later ot tomorrow and i will show to you.

With this installation i can have again the car's trunk in 15 minutes back to oem condition...

Be carefully when running that sub at high volumes, there doesn't look enough clearance for the grill on the front and may end up rubbing and knackering the surround of the sub driver.

You amplify your oil meaning you can have more of it! More oil=better lubrication=more power
