Well the insurance company are writing off my car as it'll cust more than 66% of the cars value to fix. All because their repair centre charge £75 an hour and want 8 hours. So I'm buying it back and getting the difference blah blah blah.

All the scuffs polished out as it was all her paint, just needs a new (second hand) wing as it has a dent which should cost next to nothing.

Woman who hit me should have just said she'd pay for it could have been over with now and sacked her a claim.

Seems ridiculous that they would just write of a clearly mint car because of a dent in the wing like that

It's all down to money for them they just don't want to cough up, as said a new wing and it'll be fine. Got my mates garage to check the steering and suspension out and that was fine do it was putely cosmetic.

Could get away with just leaving it but I notice the pannel gap every time I see it.

such a shame they want to write it off, atleast you can buy it back!

i have a ding in my rear quarter just like that under the arch trim, was there when i bought the car, really annoying me as its only noticeable from a distance or at the right angle but i just cant be fussed to put it right as its on the rear quarter.

So today I got the letter from the insurance company, they wrote my car off. There settling for £1650 and I can buy the car back for £163.50 so it'll leave me with £1,471.50. All it needs is a new wing, VT arch and some clips plus the VIC test. All in all it should only cost me £100.00.

Honestly don't understand how the insurance got quoted so much to fix it, I think it's madness but I'm not going to moan.

Only draw back is the car is now classed as a crash damage for the sake of a arch!!

You wanna buy my full car for spares then? Its not worth breaking but for what I would sell you it for you could take all the good off mine or put your bits on mine and at least mine has never been wrote off??

Don't think I'll need to go that far, new arch should do it for me. Not be worth going that mental.

Slapped a set of 106 mirrors on today, same colour and I think they look better. Some like them some don't.

Things to do in the next few weeks:
New Clutch
Clutch Cable
Gaz Coilovers
23mm master cylinder
Braided lines
Change to black ABC Pillars
