Default rocker cover stud

hi, just sprayed my rocker cover went to put the two bolts back on and snapped the stud. does anyone know where i can get a new stud from and how to change it? any help appreciated.

just fixed exactly the same problem 2 days ago matey! I was lucky enough to get a new stud from a local hardware/car store for 50p. Citroen dealers sell them for £2.00 odd if you order them! However as i say, i got it from the first local hardware/car store i visited... they are not uncommon, the stud i bought was originally made for a nissan, and fits perfect. sure theres a range of studs that are the same.

As for pulling the remaining stud out. Get a pair of molegrips on it. it gives no resistance, piece of piss to screw out!
