still on the to buy list

throttle cable
thermostat (i might rob the one out the vtr just so it gets warmer quicker on my private test track...)
auxilery drive belt
3 oil filters (for flushing)
gearbox oil seals
release bearing (possibly a clutch as well)

engine oil
gearbox oil
possibly a rad flush...

well thats a few pretty pennies right there...

Well the car can sit there this weekend until tuesday, im spending hard earnt time with my girlfriend

Bought a universal throttle cable to make up, stat outta the vtr and have gearbox oil seals on the way

So needed is
Large loom plug
Spark plugs
And i think its ready to rock and roll

Wiring loom all pinned out... Just the problem of 3 pink wores and 3 green wires going to the ecu... Erm... Not fun...

Thats as you look at the ecu plug thats on the loom. The ones with writing in are the ones i need... If im correct 2 are the imobiliser, 1 power, 1 rpm, 1 speed... Lost on the last 1...

But i have a plug now

so if i can be arsed next week she should be in and running

I have the vts pin outs now and where they go on the ecu and all that stuff so the ecu is sorted

question is what pins are they on the multi socket lol... Hmm this is gonne be fun... So far i have got 4 questionable wires 3 data links and the mil light...

The numbers go from right to left 1-55 matey so what i can see yours are:

9 - 1.11 - Should be 426 - Rev counter
12 - 1.8 - Should be 141 - DLC connector
27 - 2.11 - Should be 821 - immobiliser
31 - 2.7 - should be 140 - DLC connector
42 - 3.? - should be 480 - K light
48 - 3.8 - should be 820 - immobiliser

Yeah cheers mate just now need to know what pins they match up with on the 3 plug vtr ecu so i can get them working... Tbh loose the 2 imobiliser ones... And probably the mil light... But saying that these arent needed to run it... So spose it dont really matter...

More bits bought awaiting collection by the courier. Should have it tomorrow...

if im feeling better (those of you i have on fb will have seen ive not been well) this weekend i shall try and do some work on it and get it ready for test driving, oil flushing and then more tricks to come

jpsaxo has given me a few ideas and so have a few others so hopefully we shall how the dash turns out

opinions welcome tho
