A lovely wet and rainy snetterton...
When it dried up and i got the hang of those bendy bits i did really start to put in some decent laps...
New problem though its flat as a fart... 2nd gear is fine all through thenrange but as soon as i hit 3rd just feel like it wont pull... Only hitting 105 at the end of the straight... 6300 in 4th with the vtr gearbox on... I initially put it down to the gearbox and the ratios but even at low rpm on a roll down lap give the throttle a dig and nothing... It feels like a massive lack of torque...
Picking a predator up on friday and will plug that in see what readings from the sensors im getting... Map sensor or knock or lambda im putting my money on... Slap the bodies on and the vts gearbox in and see if that cures the problem... Bit of an expensive fix though... Lol!!
All in all a really good day, i know whats needed to be done and where the last bits of time are so lets start making the improvements!!
Vts rad with twin fan setup and thermostat cut out (ring left in for water pressure) and std water cooling oil plate...
No fans
Water temp 80 degrees
Oil temp 120-125 degrees
With fans stationary
Water temp 40 degrees
Oil temp 50 degrees
(Tool a good 10-12mins of tick over with fans to get the oil temp down..)
