Default DVD to Laptop to Phone

Alright lads,

supposing I want to watch some films on my Samsung galaxy S3, and have the DVD's here in front of me, whats the best way of going about it?

Many thanks in advance, any good free converters ect?

Can I even get DVD's stored to my laptops hard drive?

Feel like such a n00b lol,

Cheers

Yeah, as stated above, search for a program that will rip the DVD's content, then get a converter which will re package it in the correct container for your phone.

To be honest mate, you probably wouldn't even need to convert it. Most vids will play on the SGS3. The only gripe with playing a DVD rip is it will take a fair wack of storage. So when you convert, you'll split a 4.7Gig file into a 700Meg, still retaining the picture.

Which ultimately means you can get more DVD's on your handset.
