Default Rear Number Plate Bulb

one of my rear lights that light up my number plate has gone and i got a new bulb for it just woundered how do i replace it?

With mine you just pop off the plastic cover and pull the bulb out and replace it with another. Think they are 501/w5w bulbs.

Not sure if saxos so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah you pretty much just pull it off. But be really careful when you do it, i broke the first one and had to glue it together.

prob easier to remove boot trim to get at the stupid french design. they the plastic covers are a right pain to remove at times as the clips are always on the wrong side. once they off either led id in the plastic case or other models sit in the end of the stalk, but both are 501leds

they are almost identical to the interior light..

Flathead screw driver, pop it off, swap the bulb and yes its a 501, same as the sidelights and interior light

Unscrew the clear cover with a screwdriver, then i think they pull out but i couldnt get mine out

can get bulbs from ebay or halfords but cheapest place to get them quick is wilkos there like 70p for 2
