215/45 17 does it fit?
hello,
I wanna buy new rims 17 inch.
And the front tires are 205/40 17and rear 215/45 17
But my question is does it fit on an saxo 1.4 vts mk1?

It'll scrub everywhere. I had 205/40/17's on my mk1 flatty at standard height. Rolled the rear arches to clear the tyre edges, but it scrubbed the fuel filler neck in the front of the arch. The fronts scrubbed on full lock both ways n it will be worse when lowered.
Stick to 16's as the biggest. 15's with a 30/40mm drop seems to suit the proportions of the car best.

15" are your best choice for a range of tyre choices at good price + will fit
--17" are a nightmare --can be done but lots of cutting and unless you spending fortunes will weigh far too much
and the gearing will be all to hell as well

I like it. Proper mental looking. Doesn't have to be smooth streamlined and shiny to be nice. Each to their own.
Some like slammed and scrubbing. Some like off-roading.

Igot some 215/35 x18 for a new type mini yesterday --bet they are not much if any larger dia --and tyres cheap to £41.00+vat each
