Top of strut catching on the inside of arch ?
As above , got all my struts built up . Everything is brand new and never used .
The very top of the spring is touching the inside of the turret ? I do have the car on axel stands and grinds and clunks when I turn the steering wheel.
Surely this isn't normal even on axel stands ? Was fine before I changed to leda inserts and 320lb springs

Have you got the recess of the top spring pan plate in the correct orientation 4 holes in chassis but only 3 are used. If you get what I mean
both of these are incorrect see below

neither of those is correct, without specifying if its PAS struts or non pas.
PAS is strut top at rear of hole, they have shorter steering arm.
non pas goes at the front, longer arms less castor.

Sorry for the late update. I'm running standard legs with a strange insert ( Leda oil filled ) standard top mounts and 320lb springs which look the same as standard except a bit thicker ?
On my mk1 vts . Anyone have a photo of how they shoulld be ? And the top mounts aren't sided are they ?

So the top two closest to the windscreen and bottom closest to the engine?
I'll have a look tomorrow when I go to the workshop
Thanks for your help

Yeah from what I can see in the book, the tops aren't cymetrical so they rotate on a axis where if the bolts aren't in the correct holes the top catches.
