Default Oil temp sensor

I'd like to fit a decent oil temp gauge to the car, what's the best solution for my oil temp sensor?

I'm runninc a Mocal oil cooler, is there an inline adapter or anything?

Cheers folks

x

On my AX I got a T from a local hardware stockist, put that where the oil pressure switch is in the front of the block, and put the standard pressure switch and the gauge sender into the T.

Only reason I did that is because I wasnt sure if there was any kind of feedback to the ecu, but you could equally just dump the standard switch and remove the bulb from your dash

Im such a spacker I read temp as pressure, mnnngh!

Same applies I suppose though. I just drilled and tapped my old standard sump temp sensor to take the gauge sender, and put that there.

This. Torques sandwich plate has two fittings/takeoffs for just such a thing.
