I know its almost been a year ...
Strut Brace has been started but I'm out of the workshop for atleast two days this week. Got all the materials in place now ... made the plates for the top of towers. (would have prob finished it if I was able to take the saxo to the workshop).
Oh yes the manifold Once I finish that and others see the job I think I will have an order or two.
I'm thinking that I'm gonna go down the V-Band clamp route ... No exhaust cement needed and only one nut to undo at each end of a pipe.

Fabrication of Strut Brace
I decided a while ago that I would be making my own Strut Brace. Personally don't think that it will be that hard to make or assemble. All materials will be stainless steel.
disks for the top of the towers
As you can see the discs now been drilled...
Need to move the fuel cut off switch. The brace is going to be following the firewall.
---———---
Basically put this idea in the bin because it looked shit.

Took me about 20 minutes to get the old Citroen headunit out and the other one in ...

Poor little Paxo has a bad rash !

Gonna give the Paxo a right good clean and get some pictures up in the next few days ..

It's an ongoing process ... just keep looking at post #23. I'm going to use it to show the full fabrication.
Anyway here are some long awaited pictures... I know needs a wash and also needs lowered.
And a little bit of idling
If anyone wants to see the full album click here, I just don't want to post all the pictures I took that day.

I know I'm thinking about doing it myself.
Whats This ...
So I took the plunge and bought some VTS wheels, but decided they needed a little extra so I ended up getting them painted.
These were painted but they weren't lacquered...

So here they are lacquered...
Still got one to sort but these will soon be on the ' R'

Thanks I'm trying my best, right now putting the things that are wrong with the car right. That is a fair few jobs itself ...
next up is the problem with the passenger door, MOT & inside the driver door (problems with electric windows and interior)

Today's Update
Decided to pamper the R so I placed some orders to Rubbish Boy's, CYC...
Here is what I have bought so far
. Sonus "Wunder drying towels"
. Dodo Juice Born Slippy
. Dodo Juice Red Mist
. Dodo Juice Supernatural Shampoo
. Rubbish Boys Detailing Clay
. Dodo Juice Purple Haze
. Dodo Juice Fantastic Fur Buffing cloth
. Yeti Fist wash mitt
. Poorboys Natural Look Dressing
. Megs All Purpose Cleaner
. Various Brushes
All I need now is two 20L buckets, one with a grit guard. Powerwasher & Snow Foam Lance, wheel sealant, Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite and I'm thinking Black Wow or something for the exterior trim
If you feel I'm missing anything in my detailing equipment please let me know

Hoping so just waiting for Drew to send a txt so I can pick the last one up. I think I'm looking at next weekend for the wheels to go on...
Thanks for the jack Scotty if I didn't get that I wouldn't be doing anything with the wheels.
---------------
Next up for me is trying to sort out the passenger door rust and fit the hose kit I bought off CHIP

Trust me when I say I wish it was finished myself but I need to be in the workshop for me to finish it. Some of the materials are still stashed away.

Looks good mate, hate those old wheels, new ones look nice though.
Thought two-tone was VTS only. Looks nice mate. Hope you get the rust sorted.

yeah the old wheels are proper gash ! Pretty sure I've seen more VTS Two Tone's than I have VTR's.
The rust will hopefully be gone by the end of the month, getting quotes right now. The main jobs for this month is the exhaust and the rust.
