Took me 3 days doing it by myself + learning as I went.
got the old engine out in like half a day - just took a little while to put the 16v in + plumb in the fuel lines etc.

wicked, so if i get an engine, and then i can rebuild it in my garage, then as soon as its done, i can just drop it straight in the car,
so if i get a week off work i should be fine
im just not that confident at the wiring loom + fuel lines etc etc,
As im only on my 2nd year at collect

I got a mk1 loom so it was literally plug and play - just match the plugs up. The only bit of wiring it had to do, looking at wiring diagrams, was when I came to install the front radiator fans.
Fuel lines are fine also - just use your common sense + there's plenty of help on here should you get stuck!

Here's a screen print from Citroen:
It looks like my rear torsion bars at 17.9mm - going to 19mm bars should be an improvement - the 19mm ones don't cost much second hand.

Pictures for anyone who is interested!!
24m Rear Anti-Roll Bar. Suprisingly was cheaper from 106parts than from Peugeot themselves, only by £5 or so.
Front Wishbone Powerflex Bushes
Front Anti-Roll Bar Powerflex Bushes
Piper BP285 Cams - just need to buy some followers and a pair of camshaft seals!!
Got these for £110 delivered !!!!! What a steal !!! The only downside is they need 2 nipple drilling out but that'll only cost £40 from a local engineering place!! Have cleaned them up now and they look 10x better than the pics!
Am waiting on an S2 gearbox, and then am going to look into getting a PnP ECU and then get the cams in and mapped up!
Just can't wait to get the Hi Specs on!!
Feel free to comment!

Also, managed to get my hands on these:
They are the Saxo manuals that Citroen use, the wiring diagrams folder is good for the 16v wiring looms. There's guides in there of how to do things, and various measurements and details on all the Saxo range. Should get me out of some situations when the car goes wrong!

No not too hard. You'll have a single line running down the passenger side of your car already, I just removed passenger seat and lifted the carpet, dropped the fuel tank and managed to get hold of a pair of fuel lines from a Vts being broken, so fitted these. They are moulded so once you lay them out it's easy to see how the route.
It's wasn't hard, just fiddly, maybe takes 4/5hours.

Yeh, they come off a 206gti. I was Reading the hi specs take the same discs as a 206 gti 180? Am looking toward to fitting them, going for some minted 1144's for them.

I think they are BRC Racing wheels, or something like that. Bought them cheap off eBay with good tyres, painted them black and I think they look okay. Would love some 15" oz ulteggras - although these ones are fairly light compared to vtr alloys
Also Im going to do a guide of how to time your cams in when i fit mine.

UPDATE
Hi Specs have been sent away for the bleed nipples to be drilled out! Also, ordered a full seal kit for them £18 a caliper, not too bad! And pads retaining clips are £8 for a set (both calipers)
Should be back Monday with all new nipples ready to be refirbished and put on!
Just got to buy some pads and discs now, hrrmmmm
