you dont need a long inlet length with boost mate..
he had some slight issue wuch im lead to belive it was because of a poor choice of throttle linkage.. really if they are well setup there should be NO issues and it "should" give slightly better throttle response.

Hrmmmmm, I remember he was having problems with it running but can't remember what was said about it.
I'll have a read of his progress thread and see.
Is very tempting tbh. especially seeing block85's setup!
I can imagine the TBs would give good throttle response . The main advantage for me really would be that I've got all the linkages, fuel lines inlet setup - so could just bolt it upto the jp4 head.

Yeh the dash has all the warning lights I'd need, plus can do 2 temps and 2 pressure, so I'll do:
water pressure
boost pressure
oil temp
water temp
I've got an innovate afr gauge seperate then good to go. The dash has a shift light output, but the only thing missing I think is volt gauge but not massively important tbh
Got a load of sensor adapters from LMA so they all plug into standard holes so just a matter of plugging them all in - going to fit them with the new engine so the odometer on the dash shows engine mileage!
Yeh, I got some fabric loom tape and S8TTG rewrapped my whole loom to protect it - one wire had been worn through - soldered it up, plastic sheathing and should be sweet!!

loving the work mate, you car looks better in every pic, got some food for thought though, your thinking c2 vts inlet yeah? well bodies perform better? OBVIOUSLEY, but! price you pay for a tb set up is dependant on a few things, major is doing the work yourself and stand alone. youll have those anyway for the majority, so around 300 for a c2 inlet (just a top of the head figure that could be worked alot either way) or 500 for a bike body set up? get the bodies say 100-150 and get sandy/colin to make you a mani and enclose it in for you, will look and perform a hell of alot better?

My current options are c2vts inlet - looking to be around £500-£600 + little bits to sort vacuum take-offs, throttle linkage, fuel rail etc.
OR
Keep my current TB setup, and get a metal plenum made to take the boost.
I'm looking to go with the TBs as I've got everything setup for them, Jenvey do a specific kit for vacuum take-offs and they should give some gains over a standard inlet.
I've got Standalone already, and is pennies to get a 2.5Bar map sensor on it - then I'm pretty much good to go.
Got a 2.5" manifold back exhaust system, Piper 4-1, oil cooler, jp4 head with Piper cams -so I've got most parts!!
Might have to buy a welder so I can seam-weld the engine bay and weld up a cage for myself!

lol i actualyl forgot you already had the bodies for a minute when i posted, (its with you being adimenet on selling them before) defo think you should keep em mate, theyre not doing any harm where they are lol, be well worth you getting a welder tbh, ive got shit loads of welding gear, never comes a miss, often get ppl asking for a favour here and there, and ive always got it for when i need it, can do night courses at college to get your welding ticket too, costs around 300 but its worth it just for the training you get but itl also up your job prospects,(can then also do alot of custom fabs and cages for ppl )

Yeh, S8TTG is a certified welder so he'll be my backup when I mess up - I'm sure he won't mind helping to weld a cage up just got to buy one first!
I love the noise of TBs, even with a supercharger I think they'll be a worthy addition!!
Good to see yours underway!! When yours be done, early 2011?
