Hi to all...

I have a saxo 1.6 vts and I cannot find ANYWHERE (especially here in Greece) a flywheel to put.

Any ideas ?? By the way, citroen's flywheel weights 5.7 kilos... (very small and light don't u think). How many kilos do you think would be appropriate to lighten it, without having any problems ?

Thanxxx

depending on power output of engine ,you could remove approx 1kg,take it from round the edges most as it has more effect there .but to be honest i doubt you will notice much difference, only that it will idle worse, thats what the flywheel is for ,that and somewhere to mount a clutch to. i can sell you an aluminium version with special steel insert approx£300 ,but no point for road car

I lightened mine and took off 0.9KG, it did make a difference but it's something i wouldn't pay for unless it was cheap as the gain isn't that big.

I revs better up the high end though.

Hey guys thanx.

I eventually took off 1,3kgr and.. believe me..

I've noticed difference, especially at the higher rpm.

Axsaxoman, I keep in mind the aluminium one,

perhaps in a few months I'll need it. Can u tell me, how much does it weight ?
