sweet dude, didnt even know you were doing this today!?! ah well that leaves friday free to fit my B & M and maybe take a look at my wiring
I think raising the rear 20mm was deffinately a good call, dont get me wrong the car handles like its on rails but might be a little less bumpy now?
Engine looks like an angry little bastard sat there, looking forward to seeing it friday

car hasnt been driven at this height on the axle m8, it is the new axle fitted when down the unit. it will be going back to its original height.
looking at it, a few loom wires are a bit short.
so were start urs early lol. i wll crack on with the shifter, u gt ur battery yet???

ive got a buyer for my old battery but not yet ordered a new racing version though... spent £300 odd recently on the car and waiting for pay day possably...

recieved these in the post today

all 3 spoox competition engine mounts.
think i will keep the lower one as a spare as i have the powerflex one already.
and a side view for u andy, not on car but this is how it should be i think??
will be fitting them friday

Wow what a good read just read it all from page 1. This is going to be a animal when finished huh?! Really really good work. I'm so jealous that you and Lippy live close and both have a passion for saxo's no one around me is interested  lol.
Where did you get those door pulls from mate they look the nuts also.

Why did u buy from spoox? They are more expensive from there.
And yes that how they fit have to drill it out to 12mm.

i didnt buy them from spoox m8, got them from here at a very good price, never used. was lucky lol, was going to buy them new directly from the guys that make them.

got home from work today, and decided before i go back for the evening shift i wanted to fit the mounts, impatient lol as have day off tomorrow,
anyways fitted

and yes i know, the gearbox is crappy lol, its only in there for engine to be in place for sorting the wiring so ignore it please ha ha
also i decided to try a bit of colour inside let me know what u guys think?
ignore the mess everywhere, it is a build after all

thats my progress for the day, tune in soon for more lol

liking the dash colors! wasnt too sure before but yep likin it!
mounts look sweet! really interested to know how hard they are! maybe we should have fitted them to mine for a trial run first

will be using the vts box, refurbed with quiaffe diff and some trs shafts,
if this doesnt turn out to be strong enough then a b,e conversion will be done next year

small update,
decided that i would need a boost gauge and oil pressure would be a good one to have, so ordered them,
and decided to build a pod to fit in the center vent,
now im not that gr8 with fibre glass, but lippy is away so thought i would give it ago.
anyways
the idea tricky getting them to face right, but i got there
all done now to fit to dash, hoping it still fits

it fits and still tilts, just awaiting the oil pressure gauge now and get them wired up.
progressing swimmingly now, only gotta get through next month then the charger will be in place.
