Sound Quality Help
Hi,
Currently i am running a murphys HU with the standard saxo door and rear speakers, two 6*9 JBL 963 and one JBL gt4-12 subwoofer.
This is how i bought the car and i now want to improve this badly.
I have no problem with the sub, the quality is fine .The problem i have is with the sound quality of the rest of the system. I need some advice on a good HU , component door and rear speakers and somthing to replace the 6*9's .I dont want to have to install another amp unless necessary.
i have probobly about £1000 to spend on this.
Thanks

Well i want a good bass but i still want to hear the song. At the moment im finding that the bass from the subwoofer is muffeling the sound from the standard speakers and 6*9's

Ditch the 6x9 and get an awsome set of front comps with an equally good amp to power them and sound deaden the doors and you will see a vast improvement pal.
which speakers you go for is your choice, you can spend as much or little as you want. I run Herts HSK components up front which are pricey but i like them, other people will run JBL and love them. Its personal preference, but amp them up correctly with some sound deadening and you will notice a massive difference.

Thanks ill do that. Ive herd about people replacing 6x9's with 8" component speakers in the parcel shelf. Would this be a good idea?
