Shit happens. Got it started today by jumping it off my mums car, battery is dead as fuck. Stating the fucking obvious here lol
Wires missing;
- Crank Sensor
- Oil Level Sensor
- Oil Pressure Sensor
- Alternator wires
Charged up the battery so we can run the car for a few miles to get it up on the ramps to attempt a fix, even if its just to fix the alternator, as long as I have a car to get me to work for a few days. Typical Landrover last night blew its Headgasket. Another few hundred quid out the wallet before Christmas. Which do I get fixed first. My driveway has never been so empty.

Not sure how to go about it, im gutted its come this far, but its better than having the engine replaced, but im upset that a garage could do this to a customer. Im letting the mother deal with it lol

at least it aint the engine but still that is a massive shitter and a half Dom, now in terms of wiring are you wanting whole loom change or solder on new parts?

We still ain't sure which route is best to go down, we cannot find where the wires have been sheered off from, its all covered by black covers. If someone has a wiring diagram it would help me. I would like a whole new loom, yet my neighbour thinks its still salvageable, check this picture, im left with bits like this;

Plugs with 1 wire left in, the others gone. No way of me repairing this sensor.

tbh should be easy enough to trace back one on sump is the oil temp plus you got the alternator charge wire, the one for the batt light on dash, what I assume may be the single spade conenctor for oil pressure, plus crank sensor as said.
What you need to do is get the loom off the engine see what boned then run down the scrappy for a cheap 8v loom to steal plugs off should be ok if everything is soldered up nicely

Its all fixed btw now guys.. Bit of dodgy wiring in the bay, but it works for now.
Got the new Loom off Ben & Nicole and will be fitting that when I get a chance.
Leaving the car as it is now anyway Might raise the rear if I get the money, and just sort it out paintwork and looks wise.. Engine mods wise, im going to leave

First day home in 3 days lol.. I only used 8 of them, how many did you give me? If you wait a few more days, im going to invest in some wheel locking nuts (2 in each wheel) so I'd only need 4 of the bolts you give me If you give me the full set then I'll post you 12 back
Starting to feel security conscious, dickheads tried vandalising my car last night
