They were up for sale a while back, no interest. For keeps now though, Practically new tyres all round, T1R's as well You just reminded me, they are going to be refurbed soon, so they won't look chavtastic anymore

Thank you bud! Welding a tin can is quite hard, the metal is shit to weld on a Saxo/106!

Cheers bud! Tbh, we checked it out today, its proving to be a stronger panel with a hell of a load of filler and fibre glass in than the metal is itself. Done the Nearside today as well, it was basically the same, once dried I tapped it and it didn't budge at all!
Pictures of todays progress will be up sometime tomorrow or maybe later tonight if I can be arsed.

Welding is easy for some, However often it is very time consuming especially when working on cars where the metal is thin

Seems very thin on the boot area. Ah well, its fixed now, and I had a bit of fun fixing it.
Before I would have shit myself like most others and cried for weeks and weeks over a small patch of rust and ended up breaking a car for parts, but I couldn't give a shit lol.. Its rust. Shit happens lol

More Grinder Fun..
Yes, I put a few more holes in my boot..
And Yes it did feel good, due to Mike's grinder decided to shit a disc yesterday, I bought my own big f*** off Man Grinder today with Extremely precise Man Disc. It ate through this in seconds.
In Between All this, Calipers were Re-Done in Red. Porn as usual from me, just without me being the star in the picture this time..
FIBREGLASS FTW.
FILLER.. Also is FTW. My Filling skills say alot about me, Sloppy
Due to Mike took the Chris Kamara (The Camera) somewhere during this whole process, no more pics were taken until the wheel was put back on. But Basically, I sanded it down to flat and Hammerited it, and you cannot see that I have modified it at all
Another thing that was done while Big Man Grinder was still working, I cut off the spare wheel cage. Because I am a Fearless bastard when it comes to getting a puncture.
The whole underside of the boot was then Hammerited black, it does look insanely awesome, but once again a picture of that will come tomorrow.
Comments and Criticism always welcome.. Thanks for looking

It 'Shouldn't' tbh. Its rock solid in the arches, not even hitting it with a hammer would go through it. The Aluminium mesh also helps the durability of the repair. The outer edges of the holes have been Kurust'ed which makes the metal have a stronger compound to it Its water tight as well, meaning it should last as long as someone welding it would do, if not a minimum of 5 years before it has any problems. By that time, I doubt this car will still be living. & If it is, it certainly wouldn't be my daily.

Welding's not my strongest skill, especially on the rear arch baked bean can metal. Paying someone to do it wouldn't be worth it, £200ish of welding on a car thats worth more in parts to me

Dear Rust, Try eating through this you C***T!!
Not a bad attempt, this is after one coat, should do me good enough tbh. When I can be bothered to lay down on my back again and get covered in black paint again, I will go over it properly, but until then, I think its onwards and upwards with the progress! Respray time is coming up fast
Plans for this weekend;
- Pay the parking tickets off.
- Give the Torsion bars a bit of treatment with a can of paint
- Front Arches
- Engine bay tidy up, ECU Tray and Battery tray are prime examples
- MIGHT need to invest in a new set of Discs for the front brakes or may see if I can squeeze another pay day out of them
- Clean it. No whore-ish clean, Its getting resprayed, what the fuck do I care about Swirl Marks

Yeah great thanks mate, I know the feeling of "oh I can't be asked to work on a car" too well, they always seem to break on me. Hows the VTR going now? Is it still living?
