Just out of curiosity, are you going to be ratting this? "Rusty Customz"?
No, I'm not a fan of the rat look really.
Rusty Customz is basically my garage/mod shop. Myself and a few of my mates started it about 10yrs ago. Its got a bit bigger recently with weekly meets, I organised our own stand at Trax in Septemeber. We aim to be bigger next year too. This is just one our project cars really.

Not many of the guys post online, its mainly only me, but these are pics of some that I have on my phone. These three cars are the main ones we work on, along with mine. but there are plenty more local guys that are part of the club now that do alot of work themselves too.

Sorry for the poor quality 3.2MP blackberry pics!

Looking forward to being able to lower it right down on the coilovers now..
Are u going to replace the arb with a modified one rather than just remove it altogether? We put a neuspeed one on ours.

A quick question about the ARB, surely it's not safe to just remove it?

My mate also has a golf on coilovers but he cant get low because of the ARB, he ordered a whiteline one but they had problems so recalled them all, so whats the best solution?

There's a couple of massive threads on Edition38 about ARB removal. A lot of people do it so they go massively low.
Its fine to run without one. A lot of cars don't have arb's as standard. If the car was intended to be thrown about, then I definitely wouldn't have done it.
Yes, I will be replacing it at some point with an Octy VRS or Audi TT one. But not until I have some time and money to do it atleast for now, I can hopefully deck it without getting any knocking issues.

Had a play around with the coilovers and spacers these last few days. Still not 100% happy with it, as I want some bigger spacers for the back and then put my current rear spacers onto the fronts. But it looks good for now.

Please excuse how dirty it gets...

Only reason I went for the CH's was because they are less common than the LM's. Although alot of CH's seem to be popping up now too!

Thanks mate. I do love it too, but I am considering selling or swapping it. I get very bored with my cars. And I really fancy an Audi Avant, or something big along those lines lol.

I'm possibly wanting a change in alloys. So may consider selling for the right amount...

Are you going to paint the front and rear bumper bottom silver? It makes the bumpers look bigger/stretched to the floor. Car looks good but could benefit from being a tad lower on the front. all IMO of course

It will be going a little bit lower on the front, but I had to keep it at that height for now, until I get the front arches rolled, as it scrubbed with just me in it! Lol.

Not decided what to do with the bumpers yet, as I was thinking about changing them or adding splitters. But for convenience I may just colour code them for now.

Thanks for the positive comment.

If anyone knows of anyone with an Audi Avant, Bora, Passat or similar, preferably diesel, that fancies a deal, give me a shout.

Cheers.
