im not gunna rush m8, like i said i got this strange knock. its defo on the bottom end.
however it sounds very similar to a couple other vts,s my m8 have.
just alot more distinctive,
now it could sound slightly different because everything inside is different, but im gunna av the sump off to inspect any tell tail signs of something catching??

it may just be dry bearings mate, once its run a bit and the oil has gotten nice and hot and soft, it should fully lubricate the whole lump,
get a vid up, try and baffle the exhaust with something to reduce the excess noise on the vid

once driving oil pressure should sort it out,
next question, should the rotrex be whistling, its not the belt

another video, u can hear the noise better, but its getting quieter now so i think the oil is getting round fully now
