whats the daftest thing youve seen someone do with cars
Just chatting to a mate there about stupid shit we'd seen.
A guy who brought a car to us to have some work done once replied, when asked why the hell his tyres were at 47psi, "I saw it said 'max 50psi' on the sidewall and thought I should leave a couple of psi in case" 165/65/14 tyres.
Another time, saw a guy put two 5l tubs of oil into his engine, he thought you needed to brim it.
Lastly, Ive seen someone use dogged persistance to fit cams the wrong way round in a VTS engine. Then wonder why the fuck it wouldnt start but was making weird noises.

A guy at banger racing once tried to use mole grips directly on a steering colum, to steer a car (as he didn't have a wheel that fitted).
Numpty.....

Was at matchams banger racing nr ringwood.Bloke won the demolition derby and there was a bloke trapped in another car, so marshall person ran to get him out the car. Bloke who won decided he wanted to smash into the car again. Drove into the marshalls legs at 50 + mph . Not a pretty site at all. Now paralysed

You know what, when reading the thread title, I did think Viper's moment at the 'Ring ripping off exhausts. Weird that Robert.
Aparently, I can't comment as I wasn't there.
