you have ran the power cable from the battery to the boot yes?

and you have ran the rca's from the back of the HU to the boot yes?

if you have ran them down the same side, then you will get interference, which is a high pitch whizzing noise that occurs, does the whizzing noise match the revs?

or you have not earthed the amp properly, make sure the earthing point has been sanded down and the earth cable is touching bare metal.

do you have a pioneer HU, because alot of pioneers have known the have this problem. if none of the above fix your issue.

yeh i've made sure when i connected it all up that it was done properly, i do have pioneer HU, but i took the amp out today and opened her up to discover that the solder on the circuit was everywhere and the circuit board its self had a big crack through it, so i think i must have blown the amp, i was surprised that it was even getting a power source when i looked inside, looks like i need amp.
