1100w sub 400w amp
i have a 400w amp, which im wanting to run a sub off, if i use a 1100w sub, will it perform less than say a 400w sub with the amp, or will it perform the same, just not to its full limit?

link the amp models or the RMS figures.

yeah sure, the speakers 275w RMS, and the amp is 2 x 75w at 4Ohm
im only running one sub bridged though

speakers? you mean sub?
the set ups fine as it is, assuming the sub is wired at 4ohm. the amp will be around 150wrms maybe a little bit more. underpowering the sub slightly, but will be fine if the gain is set correctly

yes sorry, sub  all is good though, im going for an orion 500w sub, 50-250w RMS

at 4 ohms SVC can i just wire it bridged across two channels, and itll work okay?
