Default Head Unit Help

Pulled my Sony Xplod head unit out my Saxo and put it in my 106. It only seems to work on ignition, no matter what combination of ignition/constant live I try is wont work. If I correctly wire it the head unit wont turn on at all. All interior fuses are fine including the one on the unit itself. Any ideas?

Do you have a constant live power?

Where in Portsmouth are you as I am near Havant.

I don't have a multimeter to check, but live-live won't even power on. Have to run both on ignition which is a pain in the arse! I live in Hilsea, just off the a27

What year 106 is it and did you check all the fuses?

Autodata says it should be fuse 8 (20Amp) but it also does the central locking and interior light (I take it they are working?)

Does the 106 have the standard ISO (2 connectors) connection or did you need an adapter lead?

Interior light is working and central locking never worked. Yeah the 106 has two connecters and the head unit came with a 2-1 adaptor. It worked fine in the Saxo!
