Is that a crack running on the boot floor from the left wheel arch? I only ask because I had one on the drivers side due to arch rust, all of which I have welded up.
Cheers

Hi, did you peel back the carpet on the arch? Just that in the picture where the zig zag line looks like a crack, it also looks like it originates from a bulging section on the arch. This is exactly what mine was like, it started from where the reinforcement plate ends.
All good if you are happy that it's not a crack etc, just wanting to make sure you've checked thoroughly as it would really need fixed urgently if it's a crack (it would mean that the boot floor was flexing through lack of structural rigidity).
Cheers
Craig

Another little mod nothing major, got a dab and bluetooth stereo as using a dodgy aux lead was getting on my tits and a mate had it laying around, colour changing to suit the dials on the cluster looks decent and so much better to use!

Nice one, really pleased for you that all is well. It was certainly an unpleasant shock for me when I discovered my rot and was a fair bit of welding work to put right! Thankfully you don't have that issue. Just as well to check and be sure, as you have done.
Onwards and upwards!

When you get to that stage, for heavens sake don't put underseal on it or even waxoly to be honest, I can strongly recommend Bilthamber products. You get a clear wax (Dynax UC) that comes in big 750 ml aerosols, and also S50 cavity wax. The clear stuff is just that -you can still see through it, so you can preserve the appearance under there.
It also cleans really well, you just take a rag with soapy water to it and any grime and dirt comes straight off. It doesn't dry sticky either, just slightly tacky. The S50 is great for getting into box sections / chassis rails etc and comes with a 360 Degree directional long lance. So easy to apply and comes out tops in testing.
I've used it on my classic mini, I have used S50 in all the box sections and UC everywhere under the car, floors arches etc. Great stuff.

Quick test fit today see how the new wheels fit before i order tyres come payday , rear has a 20mm spacer and now sits lovely and flush, front is no spacer and sits pretty bang on too.
Should have custom braided lines on the way for the front brembos for christmas hopefully then just need to order a gti6 master cylinder and i can get cracking on sorting the brembos out and fitting them.
