N95 memory help please
Hi ya.
I've just changed my contract with 3 and i've recieved a new phone, it's the Nokia N95-1. It's NOT the new 8gb model. I'm looking to buy a memory card as it didn't come with one, and I would like to buy the largest one possible. The manual says that it uses the MicroSD memory card, so I've been looking on Ebay for some offers... Well, I'm not sure if the ones I'm looking at will work, as most of them say that they are for use with the "latest" N95 phone. For example, look at this link:

That's an 8gb card, but it says it's a MicroSD HC card. Does that mean it won't work in my phone? If anyone can find me a link for a large memory that will work, I would be very gratefull!!!

hey toad i use a lot of these memory cards and i can say yes u can use that in a n95 as far as i can see from the pic its the same one i got but mine is 4gb didnt know u can get the 8gb lol (well know i do) too be sure just ask the dude but im sure its the right 1

OK, thanks MAS. What put me off was the fact that the memory card has "HC" written on it, and also that it's described as being for the "latest" version of the N95... I'll ask the seller. I just want to be sure, as when buying stuff off Ebay, you don't want to be trying for returns, as it can be a nightmare!

toad i just pulled out me memory card and its the same space and stuff might just have hc written ofit for another reason maybe but if the guy has said for the n95 thats cool but asking makes a big difference lol !

Ive had mine for a while now and really quite pleased with it, beats the iphone for sure.
Ive heard if you upgrade the phones firmware to V20, that solves alot of the little problems found with the N95.

well mate i had the old 1 too firstly i gotta say this 1 looks better and is slightly smaller than the original one and the memory is liked unlimited lol (who really uses 8gb ???) and isnt as slow as the n95 could have been at times !

Just the same then, but with fixed bugs etc.
It must look nice if its smaller now, i think the original is nice in size.
