I've been away from this site for about 5 years now, I come back on just to see if everything/one is still alive and still got idiots who cause more harm than good to there car. It would be easier just get rid of the shit alloys, put originals back on, change the brakes all round and go from there.

Have you heard of the phrase, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", let us know how progress gets on as well.

No idea but just buy some brake shoes for a saxo to be safe? It seems like you need to go to your local motor factor or look online for the brake shoes.

They shouldn't be too much money mate.

Just wanted to keep you updated, i just installed peugeot 206 gti discs, pads and calipers on saxo, had to grind off a little bit from the caliper carrier to fit and some new bolts etc... But very happy with the result, i refurbished the calipers with new seals and a lick of paint very happy with the result, now we wait for the brake drums and shoes to arrive
