ok... so. noticed my k&n was being sucked/squished inwards.

soloution...





fitting a straight intake pipe too...





^^ new filter not fitted...


I am waiting for a few silicone couplers to arrive.

why so much pressure in the rears?! we ran 26 front and 24 rear cold on a Saxo running Pirelli rally cut clicks, with more in the rears they just didn't warm up.

no, difference front to back I meant. you want a bit more in the fronts so you don't cook them.

Less in the fronts... In the dry im about 12psi more in the rear, and wet only about 2...

Booked on cadwell 12th this month, is evening trackday.

i look forward to the car with few new mods, tyre change, swirl pot and bias in car.


also more than anything a relaxed 2hr of trackday not super urgent time attacking!

laptimer, does pretty much what any mobile app can do but costs £170more



engine with old intake setup



with new filter and intake pipe (odd coupler and scruffy pipe)



now with silicone hose. its silicone over the alloy pipe. silicone this length very floppy and to save chances of it being sucked flat slid over the alloy tube

Franklin Motorsport has a set of scales on order so hope to get some corner weighting done soon
