The Cheytac Inter is the best sniper rifle in the game and is used by most for a reason, very accurate at a distance while keeping the punch.

Every bullet firing gun in MW2 has 100% perfect accuracy with the first shot.

Most people use it because they don't know how to be a sniper. They think running around like commando and trying to "no-scope" people is the correct way to play.

Only time I try to no scope is when someone sneaks up on you when sniping and I either don't have time to switch to the pp2000 or I panic and just try shoot them quickly lol, more often than not though I cant do it.

Out of interest Toad, what are your classes? What game modes do you play?

Anyone know what happened to COD last night?, kicked everyone off and gave them "communications to the xbox live servers has been interupted" or something like that around 9.. half 9ish last night?

My classes change a fair bit, but I usually have 3 sniper classes, with one of them being more of an assult class as opposed to sniping.

Semi-stealth class:
WA2000 + silencer
Raffica + silencer
Claymore
Slight of Hand
Stopping Power
Ninja

Full stealth class:
M21 EBR + silencer
PP2000 + silencer
Claymore
Scavenger
Cold Blooded
Ninja

Assult class:
.50 Cal + hearbeat sensor
Raffica + extended mags
Semtex
Slight of Hand
Stopping Power
Last Stand


The assult class is something new I've been trying. I works really well, but can be tricky to use. I don't use the sniper rifle that often, my main weapon is the Raffica. The Raffica has the same damage as the Famas and M16 and I use it just like either of them. The advantage is that you can ADS (aim down sight) with it and walk at a decent pace all at the same time, just like with an SMG. I use Last Stand because you can use the Raffica in Last Stand. If you get shot with it in your hands, there's no switch time / draw time when you fall into the position, so you can fire back almost instantly. The draw back with the Raffica is that its aim assist is short, the same distance as the SMG weapons, so it makes locking on to an enemy quite tricky. I have a tendancy to move my body left and right to adjust aim finely when required, rather than moving the right button (on Xbox) which moves your weapon aim and not your body.

Finally, I switch to the .50 Cal when either, 1) Enemies are far away, or 2) When I want a quick sit-rep with the hearbeat sensor.

Naa I don't no-scope at all, it's just pure luck.
To have say, 100 hits, you wouldve probably got about 900 deaths lol.

Tell ya what, I think the cod4 the maps were great but the weapons were rubbish.

Whereas on mw2 it's the other way around, but the lack of other bolt- action rifles pisses me off, so that's why the Inter stands out for me, that, the ACR, and the M16 stand out for me.

The ACR is a laser. Crazy accuracy, I love it.

Now I'm not doing this to piss you off, but the M16 is a useless gun because of the famas. They both inflict the same damage, however, the famas has a longer range, which means its bullet damage will maintain its power over a longer distance. Just a little tip.

I love n00b tubing but doesnt it just piss you off if you miss slightly and it bounces past them and doesnt explode? Works with Danger Close too so thats easily 'boostable', helps with Scavenger, just gay you can only carry 2 at a time.

The problem with this game is the ant-lag sytem. It was unplayable for me last night. I nearly threw my controller into my TV I got so damn frustrated!

I was hitting people point blank range with the Spas and not getting a kill. Knives missing. I would see people coming round a corner without them spotting me, and as soon as they came into sight, I'd shotgun them, only to find my actions futile. In a nutshell, the enemies seemed to have around a 2 second advantage on me, even though I was flicking between a 3 and 4 bar connection. Absolutely shocking...

The other night i fired a whole mag of the Scar-H (with stopping power and FMJ) into the back of some at point black and then he just turned around and killed me with 3 shots!! WTF!!

I had one 'normal' game last night, out of about 15. ABSOLUTELY useless. I ended up just doing laps around Derail to try and unlock marathon and lightweight pro. lol.

was it noobtube day yesterday or something, every game i went into was always someone doing it, one game even had the other whole team using them, we still beat them but it just wasnt enjoyable
an killstreaks were hard to come by as sometimes even when you kill the noobtuber he's still fired one off an can kill you aswell

Was using the noob tube ages ago to unlock danger close pro, one match I was in I was doing terrible but there were two young english boys helping each other in free for all, not boosting, but running about together. Everytime I killed them with the noob tube it was "ZOMG fucking nooooooob tuber, use a real gun, gteng your a prick" etc etc but all in a silly wee boy voice.

Which just made me kill them more cause it was hilarious listening to them. It never occured to them that if they just shut up I would have changed classes because I was doing shit. Funny thing was I kept getting two kills because they were following each other so closely lol. Kept hearing them on the mics, Dan dont shoot its me lol

Next match I changed to my ACR and annihilated them lol, then they left the lobby.

A perfect example from yesterday. Beginning of the game on Sub Base. I was the first to die by a toob with Danger Close. It spawns me near by him and a second later, I'm tubed again. I spawn again, and this time I manged to knife him before he toobed me a 3rd time! Then he spawns right behind me and tubes me again. It was pathetic.

I dont know if you've had a update on your 360 but i updated mw2 yesterday and everytime i spawned i was 1 sec from the enemies.. on Estate i ran in the house and oh haii 3 spawned infront of me. Seems this update has sort of wrecked it for me atm..
