Faulty disc???? - Saxperience

Hi guys and gals,

I new to this section and i have a little query.

Can a game disc be faulty??

Reason i ask it i had Forza 3 for Christmas and when you put the game in the disc tray and close it the disc doesnt spin as it should and the game refuses to load. I have to keep taking it out and putting the disc back in and eventually it will work.

All other discs (games and dvd's) work first time every time with no problems at all.

Anyone else experienced this??

Yes you can get faulty discs. Most places will swap it for you no questions asked but some will try it in a system before they do. Tell whoever you got it off and hopefully they can give you the reseat or if not they can generally take it back just with a card statement with the transaction on.

Cheers mate i appreciate your reply......Mrs bought it for me and we have the receipt. Will take it back to game and get it swapped.

ive figures its the way forwards...im only getting is for Forza though.

EDIT: when i say im getting it, im making the Mrs buy it.

No buddy, disc 2 is just for installing other cars etc etc etc iirc.

I had issues with my Forza3, images and sounds was about 2 seconds out. Got a refund and bought some shopping instead and downloaded the game

had a problem with nfs shift at game station awfull service and shit knowlegde

the disc was not reading on parts and tracks werent loading.

they did bugger all.

game on the other hand bent over backwards to sort my far cry out that had no a loading error.

like said mate get reciept and pop back go from there, theres clearly a fair fault get them to try it while you wait.

but it has to be a proven fault. id make them test it.
