Number of F/S threads per user - Saxperience

I have noticed recently members seem to be selling shit loads and creating a new thread for each item. This seems a bit excessive as it clogs up the for sale section and moves all the other threads to page 2 etc.

It's not really fair on the people who have had the sense to put all their items in one thread, so maybe a limit of 1 or 2 active threads per user?

At least, i dont think so. maybe thats the rule on another forum...

either way, it'd be useful. i rarely browse that section but it used to do my swede in when i saw countless threads by the same users:

"brake lines for sale"
"brake calipers for sale"
"brake discs for sale"
"bolts to connect disc to hub for sale"

and so on... lol

This rule has already been made after I had a word with James last year I think it was or earlier this year. Its easy to spot when theyre all bumped together or made at the same time, but when theyre spread about its a little harder to spot.

Does my head in though. I sometimes make 2 threads to get more attention for a larger product that will be easier to sell.

Yeah i can't see why we don't get some more voluntary staff who can sit at the desk 24 hours a day monitoring the forsale section for free, seven days a week.

Getting pretty fed up of all the bitchy little posts. Didn't expect one from you James.

Time for the forsale section to get abit more strict if thats what everyone wants.

Getting to a point now where saxp would be better off without a forsale section. I've started selling my bits more on ebay, i'd rather pay their rediculous fees than deal with the amount of messers on saxperience.

James was taking the piss out of the 'wheresmenuts' in the trading thread in gen chat that ashleyp started. Wheresmenuts says mods aint doing enough, when really theyre doin as much as they could. Check my thread in prem chat btw

2 threads is perfect. I normally have one thread with a list of everything, then another to get more attention of a specific thing for sale thats quite substantial and easy to sell.

I didn't read the full thread about Wheresmynuts, i just commented with "

" after i read his comment and left the thread.. He wasn't worth my time lol.

I'm going to try make the forsale sections abit more strict for a while, see if it runs any better. Check the new stickies in the forsale sections.
