Would it be a good idea to give the OP the power to lock their own threads to stop people spamming when they are happy with the answers given? This would make it easier for people to find information as well.

If people have the power to lock their own threads they also can use it to cause crap and then simply lock it.

Also prevents threads being used or further questions being asked when people search for it in the future.

Spammers/idiots can be dealt with though via the report button.
