MikeyW vs My New Whip - 2005 BMW 116i Sport - Winter Prep
Picked up my new car last week and wanted to get it protected whilst I still had the time.
The colour is Sparking Graphite which I love, alot of flake in the paint but it's pretty hard to capture it with such crap lighting.

Ugly car alert!!! Fuck it, I drive an AX.
Looks nicely done though. Damn you southern fuckers with your "still able to wash the car" clement weather.

It was risky business trying to time it in between the rain storms bud.

Very nice . IronX FTW!!
I read a few threads on detailing world discussing how snow foaming actually deteriorates the lsp on the car no matter if it's PH neutral or whatever. Just a tip to bare in mind next time you snow foam the car and give it the usual wash without waxing and sealing etc.
I noticed that when using Valet Pro PH neutral on my CTR, which has Wolf's body wrap lsp, the beading is pretty poor after snow foaming. No matter how well you wash it off, it's never the same as before . It can easily be solved with a quick QD spray and a wipe over but I honestly thought that snow foaming was 'good' for the car - obviously different opinions on this!
You applying the supernatural by hand or DA? Looks very clean though anyway - top work! It's too bloody cold here to clean cars at the moment

The car didn't have any protection on it anyways dude. 99% of the time, if I'm foaming, it's part of a full detail for a customer so I'll be applying LSP anyways. Never had a problem before though.
SNH applied by hand via a Supernatural foam finger mitt.
Wooly hat and a pair of Sealskinz worked wonders today ha !

I am back but going back up to camp on monday for a couple of days then back for Christmas leave straight after.
But yep as young Matthew has said, he's first I'm afraid. Took me nearly 2 weeks to find the motivation to step outside the door to mine though haha.
