just bumping this thread up... my leather seats have a few cracks in them, very visible... people never usually sit in the rear seats of my car and was wondering what I could use to hide/disguise the cracks
decided im going to give it a go tomorrow and just use black shoe polish.. is this a good or bad idea? anyone tried it before?
I know it wont be a long term fix tbh but its surely worth a try?

Are they actual cracks? or just where the leathers dried out a bit?

if the former, you need to repair the leather properly.
if the latter, you need to get moisture back into the leather, that'll bring them back to life.

and shoe polish rubs off, why would you put that on somewhere your clothes will be sat on?

theres tonnes of info over on detailing world, go have a read

I swear by gliptone cleaner and conditioner, easily available on ebay and actually smells like leather. I used it for 5 years on cream leather in a show standard corrado and it was great...
