Question: I have the steeringwheel on the left, is this grommet on the same side as in "uk" cars?

Cordless driver/screwdriver, Drill bit slightly bigger than the cable. make sure drill straight away from the othercables and hey presto just push the cable through nice and simple .

make another hole in the grommet next to the wires then you should get the cable through

Also attached it to fuse box, works a treat.

Top thread, haven't has the saxo long and have spent the last 3 months with my sub in the boot not wired in, cause I had no idea how to get the power cable through the firewall!
Only have one problem, my power cable has already got an inline fuse in it (cause it came outta my old car) and that obviously wont go throught the grommit, any ideas?

Quick question here, did you have to make a hole in the grommet to feed the red cable through or was there already one there. Mine is just like yours, just without the red cable running through, and no hole. My red cable has a fuse box attached to it, and I dont see that fitting through the hole somehow and Im quite sure the cable is not long enough to have the box IN the car instead of the engine bay...

Just a quick tip in case anyone's interested...if you don't have wire coat hangers etc, after i de-pinned my locks, i kept them as a just in case and they proved VERY handy for pushing the power cable through the grommet. Simple as taping the wire to the end and pushing through. Hope that helps
