Do i need to just clean the car and paint it on, or do i need to lightly sand surface 1st, if so, which grade?

Yeah but your car is going to look 10x worse with that chalk paint on it. At least the vt kit is changable but repainting the full car is too costly.
Choice is yours though. think about it.

Didnt they used to sell the old shape polos in multicolours? or was i just seeing twats driving badly repaired cars?
Im sure they all used to wear knitted ponchos as well... hippys.
