Default Any 106 lads know about these arches?

Currently building an impreza powered 106 (106 shell impreza turbo running gear) and shes a little fat to say the least. Wheel stick out around 2"-3".
Was going to use universal JDM/drift style arches which i like as there abs plastic, cheap and readily available. But i have also seen these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3117052988...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It would be nice to make the car look slightly more OEM and will flow with the standard 106 gti bumpers/side skirts. Bit more expensive and i dont like that there fiber glass as i want this thing to be a weapon with out worrying about fiberglass smashing off. Anyone had any experiences with them?

I would of posted on a 106 forum but they appear to be all abandoned these days and this forum is the only one with life still on it out of the 106/saxo forums

Cheers
H

Here is a little preview for those who are interested.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAdOXIb99xE

As you can see its a complete bodge at the min. Everything is just tacked and loosely fitting purely to move it in and out the workshop and around the yard. Time to spend some dosh on it now and get it caged, stripped, weld the sh*t out of it, paint, and reassemble get some decent seats in and a proper tank. looks like i better get saving!

Thank you very much for that, I was looking at saxo s1600 kitcar/maxi kits for a while as would be perfect but was put off by the prices from maximotorsport.com Also they dont state what they are made from, im guessing fibreglass?. Either way i think i will be ordering a set of (arch extensions only) from fastcarspares. Did you use the arch extension only or the full wing kit?

Great to see GMC is still going strong remember ordering lot of goodies from you meany moons ago for a forged up supercharged jp4 lump. Unfortunately Looks like QEP is no more? Cant find them anywhere, they did alot of headwork for me on the same build. Probs getting on for 10 years ago now.

hi was a full wing +rear 1/4 panels +front +rear bumpers --full kit you can have grp or kevlar

no sales very low now very close to retirng -- want to buy a rolling road +all fans+computer over head screen+ etc ? --they only come for the complicated or hard to get bits . lol.
no QEP is long dead --i still supply cat cams bits etc --but get them direct from holland
