How many WATTS are you running at peak?
hiya, just curious to see how many watts everyones got on their ICE set-up, and what make their speakers/subs are.
its just a little something to see whats out there really
Mutant X sub 800watt, two theloudest.com 6x9s 1000watt each, total 2800watts

as i said.. peak power doesnt really mean anything for a start
this thread reminds me of a local chav that came up to me and said: "got a 1200watt sub and a 600watt amp.. thats 1800watts of power mate"
my reply: "Yeah.. urm, no"

tbh 6x9s arent shit if your on a budget there ideal. and tbh all the people who say bla bla bla about the are just repeating what has come from predator. yet you all jump on the bandwagon. fair enough if your running a competition system then yea theres no need. but still( btw i dont have 6x9s)
and to answer your question im pretty sure that the like of alpine kenny and the like top out at 300w in 6x9s for a lot more money.

it dosent make a blind bit of difference a good 300rms sub and similar spec amp would piss all over a 9,000 watt set up
