Default PS3 Querie

Just wondering if you get a H.D.M.I. cable with a PS3?

And also what would I need to connect to PSN (Playstation Network)
If I already have an Internet Connection downstairs? Router? Adapter?

Cheers

nope the ps3 does not come with a hdmi cable. if you get a wireless router you can go wireless with ps3 as it has it built in.

Yeh PS3 have built in wireless. So you dont have to pay £60 for an adaptor like you do with the xbox.

Dont think it comes with a HDMI cable, but you can pick them up for like £10...

i personally rate the Netgear Draft N Routers... easy interface and fantastic security... another option would be belkin but id go with netgear over them anyday and im a network technician...

if you can afford it this is the dogs bollocks:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...2&name=Netgear DG834N 270Mbps RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL2+ Modem/Router

OR

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...542,4294955290

Ideally youll need a rangemax wireless adaptor for your pc to make the most out of the extended range for this you have 2 options:

Internal: - If you know basic pc knowledge id go with this
http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...50542,47500000

External: - not as good or as conveniant as having an internal card but still very good!!

Im presuming your on ADSL not cable broadband?

Basically thought anything that has speeds of 270mbps (draft n series) and is netgear is bound to make gaming UNREAL!!!

Yeah..Im on an ADSL Line and would only want to be spending max around £70 (Or could stretch to £80) and will only settle for a G+/N Type Router!
Would I still need one of these Adaptor's regardless of the PS3 already having Wi-Fi?

Cheers

as far as im aware the PS3 does not support Draft N wireless technology....

the best and cheapest and most stable way to do it really is to run a RJ45 Cat5 Network cable to the router that way your running much better speeds...

The adaptors wont be compatible with a PS3 anyway i was thinking for your PC

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/produc...rtby=priceDesc

Any of them will give you great bandwidth... however when replacing old roumers/modems how oftern do you actually do this? its best to buy the state of the art and stretch your budget as much as possble to get years of fantastic connection...

Cheaper routers wont include such good secuirty settings

I cant rate the Netgear DG834N enough though dude personally... pick a model number you like and surf for the best prices you will be surpiced in the difference... i just use dabs or overclockers for detailed spec lists

EXAMPLE:
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/4542...html?srcid=867

£70 for it there dude cracking router

Cheers pal for tha' Help anyway!
...But I was reading somewhere that the PS3 does not support speeds over 54Mbps.
-Which kinda contradicts buying a G+/N/N1 Router for Online Gaming.
So that means I would have to buy a G Router (54Mbps) but it would be too slow for Online PS3 Gaming?!...
Another Dilemma
