Non HDMI output 360, how to change to HDMI
This might be a stupid question.
I have an original premium 360 that lacks the HDMI output port.
Is there a cable any where that will convert the component hd output to HMDI or even a cable that plugs directly into the 360 output that will give me an HMDI output out the back.
Im not interested in that this probably wouldnt support full 1080p etc... im just interested in being able to connect via HDMi as it solves a fuck load of problems for me

You have a 360 with no HDMI port, and haven't suffered the RROD? You are to be congratualted!
I don't believe there's such a cable. Pehaps Googling 'component hdmi connection' as a starter for 10?

have a look on ebay put in componant to hdmi that'll give you an idea then if can get on there then have a look for better quality

Tempted to just buy a new 360 but cant justify it

I traded mine in at Game. Got a half decent deal, as I only need to get the Arcade version, which came with virtually nothing...

you can pick up a component to HDMI cable for less than a tenner on ebay, a couple of phono to phono plugs could join them up. Hmm might have to get one and give it a test once i get a proper look at my setup at teh weekend

Looks good jim. The switcher I'm now looking at might take VGA which sorts this problem out per say.
