well i put £40 worth of vpower in a week but thats to go to work and back and college and to the girlfriends house i only do about 100 mile a week maybe a bit more so running costs of fuel could very easily go up, i usually will only get 24 mpg on a good run highest ive seen is about 34mpg and when having fun about 16 - 19mpg
Parts i get at trade price and i do everything myself, tax i pay 260, service cost for all filters, oil and plugs is about 100, tyres are about 70 - 120 a corner for decent tyres
Not all that bad, the noise just makes it all worth it though

it not that bad on fuel, im wanting an evo next and thats much much worse
I only run it on v power now, tryed normal 95 for a month and felt sluggish, and also with vpower i find you get a bit more to a tank so kind of evens out the cost between the 95 and 99 octanes
Go for an edition30 mate i love them keep up with mine no problem it is a turbo'd car though

I'm torn between keeping the A3 and saving for a convertible 1 series 130 though
You had yours dyno'd?
My mate in his stripped, caged & cam'd 172 and had a little blast the other day, kept mine in 6th and he was a goner, not bad for a one and half tonne derv

Went up to London to collect another set of rims day before yesterday with a lad who had a classic mini, he reckons the door weighs the same as all his door and boot put together.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the 5 doors, but the coupe is just
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...54el?logcode=p
You got a time scale to doing that, or just when it happens?

Coupes are nice but only have one in white and the M one
Yeah can quite well believe the weight of the door being more than mini doors lol
Time scale not really just when it happens, ill be doing the rest of the poly bushes and H&R antiroll bars next, actually not much left that i want to do really

Looks nice, liking the slight camber. Personally id deffintley loose the rub strips off the sides and the rear wiper. The car has some nice round lines and for me these two things break them up to much.
Then maybe some lupo mirriors or mk5 golf ones and get rid of the side repeaters as there in the mirrors. At the back id loose the r32 badge, then maybe the vw one or change the boot latch/handle to one off a polo i think? where the badge is the boot handle. Last thing would be a audi door handle conversion, but thats the clean freak in me!

Lol slight camber was more with standard tie bars, still have to have a bit so it doesnt catch
You certainly have a lot of ideas mate, lupo mirrors i may do but the rest i wont lol r32 mirrors are a bit smaller than other mk4 models actually but lupo ones are even smaller, thing is i like the mirrors as they are and makes her look much wider
Im doing car body repair at college but its a 11300 pound car and i dont want to change anything on it styling wise, just the splitter to go back on and i want to respray the front bumper

very true mate, will more than likely lose money if i do too much on it, most people who want an r32 ask for it to have a milltek and coilovers at least
