Ripspeed DV720 new problem
The new problem is, that when i turn it on, it turns itself off after 3 seconds

Yes mate, the cage is on, only covers about half of the player though, is screwed on at the top. I've tried plugging the AUX cable into one of them but wont fit

When i had mine there were 4 little screws behind the facia plate the cages do only cover about half

Thats how mine sits mate without the plastic surround. generally it sticks out quite abit but looks fine when its open!
i had abit of trouble gettin mine in to begin with just play around with it and it shud go in.
also make sure the slidey bit on the cage is the first bit to go in. so then it allows you to push the hu in... and as theres quite alot if wires comin out the back of it pull them down to the side. if you reach under your glove box you'll beable to grab the cables and ease them to the left abit so they dont get in the way when you fit it in... hope that helped (y)
