OK bit of an update... Finally!!!
First things first sorted out my pistons, rods and rebuild all in one go by buying a rebuilt C2 VTS engine containing some tasty low-comp pistons, steel rods, rebuilt with genuine parts and a mild bit of headwork, off of Matt aka 106xsi16v.
Pic stole from Matt of some of the rebuild
Also got round to getting the cage painted and carpet in, looks 100% better, just need to get the dash trimmed to fit round the cage and in then bar guages interior wise it will pretty much be done!!
Also managed to grab myself a C2 VTS inlet manifold off ebay for pretty cheap, just need to sort out some sort of throttle body, may see what i can get done asfar as using a standard gti throttle body and some sort of adaptor plate?
fitted the charger in the bracket to see what it all looked like and to see if the belt i got with the charger would fit, turns out it doesnt so either i get a longer belt or a smaller pulley....
anyhow heres the fancy blender!
Right so on the to do list is......
-Clutch (helix 6paddle sprung item is looking likely)
-Injectors (500cc ones off ebay looking best buy)
-Radiator (liking the looks of a JAPSPEED civic one )
-intercooler (some sort of large item to come)
-oil cooler (13 row+)
There the main bits i need to get my hands on, clutch is top of the list as once that is here i can atleast get the lump and box in the car!
Thats all folks!!

Wait a min, it hasn't changed lol, forgot you had gussets before, your cage is the same as mine except you have a diagonal on the main hoop and no gussets on the b pillars.
Mine should be boosted about April time, we'll have to meet up and compared 8v Turbo vs 16v S/C and at the same time convince Gav he needs another boosted car
