looks alright dano! although IMO it does look half finished particularly like the carbon vinyl

Especially now ive retrimmed my headliner and door cards...

haha being unique with a saxo is harder than it looks! not many things you can do that no one else has done, and it be to everyones taste!
i do like your car though, for the fact that it is pretty unique and nice little touches like the glovebox

i just painted mine in red with gauge surround and speaker surround everything think looks really good

1200 grit sandpaper is far too fine for preparing a surface for paint. You want to start with 240 grit, then spray it with plastic primer. When that is dry, wet sand it with something like 600 grit or 1200 depending on how thick the primer is and how smooth it is. Then you can either spray it with other primer or go straight to paint, i usually see how smooth the surface is and if its a bit rough here and there i spray it with normal primer and wet sand with 600 grit. Then spray it with colour, 2-3 coats and sanding between coats isn't really essential, the paint will stick because the layer below won't be 100% dry. Then you clear coat it. You don't need to sand before clear coat either. Good luck
